Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. any flavor cake mix
Preparation

Cream butter and cheese.
Blend in egg and vanilla.
Add cake mix (dry) about 1/3 at a time, mixing well.
(Cover; chill about 30 minutes.)
Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake about 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown at 375\u00b0.
Makes about 6 dozen.
