Date Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. pkg. chopped dates
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 can coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Melt butter; add dates, sugar and coconut.
    Cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
    Remove from heat and cool. Add pecans and Rice Krispies.
    Shape into small balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
