Quiche Noel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for 9-inch deep-dish pie
3/4 c. cubed cooked chicken
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
6 eggs, beaten
1 c. half and half
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation

Line a 9-inch quiche dish or pie pan with pastry; trim excess pastry around edges.
Prick bottom and sides of pastry with a fork.
Bake at 400\u00b0
for 3 minutes, remove from oven and gently prick with a fork.
Bake 5 minutes longer.
Let cool on rack. Sprinkle chicken, cheese, green pepper and pimento in prepared pastry shell.
Combine remaining ingredients, beating well.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0
for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Yields 1 (9-inch) quiche.
