Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 lb. can pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, ginger and cloves
    2/3 c. each: nuts and raisins
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water and mix.
    Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves together and mix into the creamed shortening mixture.
    Stir in raisins and nuts.
    Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 2 loaves.
