Dutch Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. cubed potatoes
3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 slices bacon, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan over high heat, bring potatoes, water, salt and pepper to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Drain potatoes, reserving broth.
Mash half of potatoes.
Set aside cubed and mashed potatoes and broth.
