Grandmom Schuler'S German Peach Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. sugar
5 Tbsp. margarine
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
cinnamon and sugar
ripe fruit slices (peaches, plums or apples)
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, margarine and milk to make a sweet dough. Grease cookie sheets or baking pans with margarine. Spread dough 1/4 to 1/2-inch thin across pan (dip fingers in milk to help spread dough and keep it from sticking to fingers). Make rows of fruit, covering all of the pan. Sprinkle with a good amount of cinnamon and sugar, then add dots of butter all around the cake. Bake at 375\u00b0 approximately 1/2 hour or until you can lift up the edge of the dough.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
