Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. hot water
    1 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 egg
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda (level)
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak the raisins in the hot water overnight.
    Add flour and raisins with the water alternately.
    Bake in 4 cans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
