Champagne Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. each: pecans, candied cherries and candied pineapple
Preparation
    Cream butter, powdered sugar and egg.
    Add dry ingredients. Add fruit and nuts.
    Shape dough into oblong rolls (little-finger size).
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Roll in granulated sugar while hot.
