Butternut Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked and mashed butternut squash
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
6 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. cornflakes
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Mix squash with 1/4 cup butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and salt.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons butter in skillet.
Add apples and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Cover and simmer until tender. Spread apples in 2 to 3-quart casserole.
Spoon squash evenly over apples.
Mix cornflakes, pecans, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter.
Sprinkle over squash.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until heated through.
