Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped fine
    1/2 to 3/4 c. butter
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. half and half cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions, bell peppers and garlic in butter until soft. Combine with shredded cabbage, 1/2 of cheese, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
    Pour into casserole dish.
    Pour half and half over all of casserole.
    Cover casserole.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    (May have to add more half and half before done if it gets too dry.)
