Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy (use whites at room temperature). Gradually add sugar and beat until mixture is stiff, like meringue.
Add vanilla.
Mix well.
Stir in rest of ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased aluminum foil-covered cookie sheet.
Put into preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
Immediately turn oven off. Leave in oven for at least 3 hours.
