Skillet Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chuck roast
    2 tsp. cooking oil in skillet
    1 medium onion
    4 potatoes, quartered
    4 carrots
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Rub roast in flour and salt until coated. Heat skillet on medium heat; brown 10 minutes until brown on both sides.
    Add water; cook until almost done. Add potatoes, carrots and onions (in slices) on roast. Add black pepper. Cook until done.
