Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 5 to 6 lb. skinned chicken (white or dark)
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices in heavy syrup
    1 (8 oz.) bottle creamy French salad dressing
    1 envelope onion soup mix
Preparation
    Arrange chicken in large roasting pan.
    Drain syrup from pineapple slices into a medium bowl; stir in French dressing and onion soup mix.
    Pour over chicken.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, occasionally basting.
    Cut pineapple slices in half and add to roasting pan; turn to coat with sauce.
    Bake 15 minutes longer or until chicken is done.
    Arrange chicken in deep dish and pour sauce over it.
    Makes 8 servings.
