Out-Of-This-World Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    5 c. mini marshmallows
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    15 maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese (small curd)
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Stir in pineapple.
    Chill until thick, but not firm. Add cherries, pecans and cottage cheese.
    Fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture into an oiled 2-quart mold.
    Chill until firm.
