Chocolate Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk.
Mix rest of ingredients and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frost with Mock Whipped Cream Frosting.
