Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla, flour and baking powder alternately with milk. Bake in 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or small tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
