Overnight Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. water
    salt and pepper
    1 c. French-cut green beans, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimientos, drained
    1 1/2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Bring sugar, oil, vinegar, water, salt and pepper to a boil. Cool and pour over vegetables.
    Refrigerate overnight.
