Haussner'S Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crab meat
    3/4 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    1 large egg or 2 small ones
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Remove cartilage from crab meat.
    Mix breadcrumbs, eggs, mayonnaise and seasonings. Add crabmeat and mix gently so crabmeat stays firm. If mixture is too dry, add more mayonnaise.
    Shape gently into cakes.
    Fry into oil approximately 5 minutes on each side.
    Brown well.
    Makes 6 or 7 good sized cakes.
