Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
2 large tomatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 to 4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook bacon crisp; drain and discard drippings.
Sprinkle tomato slices, both sides with sugar, salt and flour.
Dip in flour, egg, then flour.
Cook in butter.
Serve with bacon.
