Date And Nut Loaf Bread(Makes 1 Loaf) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped dates
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a small bowl, soak dates in boiling water.
    Place in refrigerator to cool.
    In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    In a large bowl, beat together oil, eggs and vanilla.
    Gradually add flour mixture alternately with crushed dates and water until mixture is well blended.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour in greased 9 x 5-inch pan.
    Bake 1 hour; cool.
    Store in refrigerator.
