Ruby Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. red-hot candies
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In large bowl, stir gelatin and candies in boiling water until dissolved.
    Chill until partially set.
    Fold in apples, celery and pecans.
    Pour into a 1-quart serving bowl.
    Chill until firm, at least 4 hours.
