Lavonne'S Kraut 'N Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh sauerkraut
    4 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
    1 to 2 c. chopped onion
    brown sugar
    bay leaves
Preparation
    Rinse the sauerkraut well.
    Drain.
    Layer the sauerkraut, onion, brown sugar, bay leaves and smoked sausage in a large crock-pot.
    Make several layers.
    Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
