Raisin-Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cooked pumpkin
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    1 c. raisins
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add pumpkin, salt and vanilla. Mix well.
    Add flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon.
    Fold in raisins and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    (I always double recipe and freeze cookies for later.)
