Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. pears (No. 3 can)
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Drain pears, reserve juice.
    Add water to pear juice to make 2 cups.
    Heat the juice.
    Pour over jello and mix well.
    Add 1 cup cold water.
    Chill until syrupy.
    Mash pears with cream cheese. Add to jello mixture.
    Mix in Cool Whip and powdered sugar.
    Pour into serving dish and chill.
