Tomato-Basil Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium tomatoes
    1 small red onion
    1/4 to 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    1/4 c. fresh basil or 2 tsp. dried basil
    freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes and onion thinly.
    Mix with basil.
    Pour vinegar over the salad.
    Add pepper.
    Let marinate at least 1/2 hour or preferably for 1 to 2 hours.
    Serves 4 to 5.
