Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 overripe bananas, mashed
1/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Sift flour and soda.
Mix shortening, salt and sugar; add eggs, sifted ingredients, banana pulp and nuts.
Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Test with a toothpick.
