Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 c. self-rising flour, unsifted
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. soda
2 c. lukewarm buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
Mix flour, sugar and soda.
Cut in shortening.
Then add buttermilk and yeast.
Work into flour.
Roll out biscuits on floured board.
Let biscuits rise on pan about 15 to 20 minutes.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown. Serve with honey butter.
May be stored in Tupperware in refrigerator and used later.
