Liver And Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

liver
salt to taste
1 medium onion
Preparation

Pound liver to make tender; salt.
Batter with flour.
Brown quickly on both sides in hot fat in heavy skillet.
Reduce heat to simmer.
Slice onion crosswise.
Scatter over top of liver. Cover liver with water.
Cover and simmer until tender and gravy is thick.
