Rolled Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. molasses
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    small amount of milk if too dry
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and chill 3 hours.
    Roll into 2 inch balls, then roll them in sugar and crisscross with a fork to flatten. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes.
