Cooked Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. mapeliene flavor or maple extract
    3 Tbsp. maple syrup
Preparation
    Boil 2 cups water, as it just gets to boiling, add sugars, flavoring and maple syrup.
    Bring to a boil again.
    Turn heat to medium, let boil at least 5 minutes.
    Turn off heat, leave on burner cool and store*.
    I store this in the refrigerator in a sterilized canning jar with a lid.
