Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 stick margarine
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt (if using unsalted butter)
Preparation

Soften butter, then mix with remaining ingredients until coarse crumbs appear.
Spread out on cookie sheet with sides. Press flat with hands.
Roll out with rolling pin.
Prick with a fork all over.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Cut immediately into small squares or strips.
