Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (1 cup, or 2 sticks)
    6 eggs (beaten)
    2 cups flour
    1 Tsp. Vanilla
    2 cups sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Add a little flour and eggs alternately and mix after each addition.
    (Beat eggs up before adding to butter and sugar.)
    Cook at 300 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
