Quart Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chopped, cored, unpeeled apples
    1 qt. each: chopped onions, green tomatoes and cabbage
    1 qt. sugar
    1 qt. apple cider vinegar
    salt to taste (i.e., handful)
    pickling spices
Preparation
    Chop, mix and drain excess liquid.
    Put in large skillet; add handful of mixed pickling spices.
    Boil until translucent.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
