Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 medium sized potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 small green pepper, chopped (optional)
    1/4 c. celery, chopped (optional)
    1 Tbsp. pimento, chopped (optional)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut in 1-inch cubes. In a large saucepan, bring to a boil enough water to cover potatoes (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup of water).
    Add potatoes.
    Cover tightly and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Drain.
    Slowly fry bacon crisp.
    Place on paper towels to drain and crumble.
