Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 lb. bag plain flour
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix sugar and salt and set aside.
    Mix warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar to about 110\u00b0 for dry yeast or lukewarm for cake mix.
    Add 2 packages of yeast to water and let stand 5 to 10 minutes (begins to foam).
    Add Crisco shortening to sugar mixture and cream.
    Pour boiling water (1 cup) over this mixture and beat until smooth.
    Beat 4 eggs and add to shortening mixture.
    Beat 1 cup flour in this and add the dissolved yeast.
    Gradually add the rest of the flour and the 2 pound bag of flour.
    Beat as you sift it in.
    Scrape sides of bowl down and brush the top of the dough with melted butter.
    Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
