Raisin Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box raisins, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain Red Band flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream together Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add milk alternately with flour to Crisco, sugar and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add flavorings.
    Fold well drained raisins into batter. Spoon batter into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours, or until done when tested.
