Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill dough. Form into small balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown, but soft.
