Aunt Lizzie'S Caramel Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
round ball of butter the size of a small egg

Preparation

Mix together.
Stir and cook until thick.
Beat and spread over cake.
