Fig Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. figs, peeled
    3 c. sugar
    2 pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Cover figs with water.
    Cook until tender.
    Drain and mash. Add sugar and jello.
    Stir and boil 3 minutes.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
