Fresh Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    3 apples, chopped fine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add beaten eggs, apples, flour, salt and soda together.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Add milk and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased loaf pan for 1 hour until done.
