Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut into 2-inch slices.
    Combine margarine, sugar and water in a cast-iron skillet; add potatoes.
    Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 to 2 hours or until potatoes are done and liquid is thick.
    Watch potatoes carefully and turn frequently.
