Tomato Preserves 2 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. yellow or red cherry tomatoes
1 1/2 lb. sugar
1 lemon
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Wash tomatoes; cover with boiling water and let stand until skins can be easily removed.
Peel.
Cover with sugar and let stand overnight.
Pour off syrup and boil until quite thick and clear; skim.
Slice lemon thin and then add tomatoes, lemon and ginger to syrup.
Cook until tomatoes are clear and thick.
Pour into sterile jars and seal.
