Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. fine cracker crumbs
    1 pt. oysters, drained and juice saved
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter; add crushed cracker crumbs and mix well.
    Spread 1/3 of mixture in a greased baking dish.
    Arrange half of oysters in one layer and cover with 1/2 of remaining crumbs, then second layer of oysters and crumbs.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix milk with juice from oysters and pour over all.
    Sprinkle with parsley (optional).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes (until top is brown). Makes 6 servings.
