Caramel-Nut Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. caramel topping (butterscotch or chocolate)
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 pkg. (8) refrigerated breadsticks
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 9 x 1 1/2-inch round baking pan, stir together topping or syrup and melted butter.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Separate, but do not uncoil, breadsticks.
    Arrange dough coils in pan on top of the nuts.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
    Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Loosen sides and invert onto a serving platter.
    Spread any remaining topping onto rolls.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 8.
