English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter (not margarine)
2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. water
2 c. chopped nuts
1 large Hershey chocolate bar
Preparation

Boil butter, sugar and water to 300\u00b0 or until the color of peanut butter (dark).
Spread nuts on buttered cookie sheet with sides.
Pour hot mixture evenly over nuts.
Break chocolate bar into pieces and lay over hot mixture; spread lightly with a knife to cover evenly.
When cool, break into pieces.
