Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, separated
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat milk.
Mix flour, sugar and salt, then stir into milk slowly.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add egg yolks which have been slightly beaten and oleo; continue cooking for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla.
Pour into cooked pie shell (will fill an 8-inch pan).
Use egg whites for meringue.
