Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
Preparation

Beat egg yolks in a large bowl.
Beat in milk, melted butter, vanilla and sour cream.
Combine flour, salt and other dry ingredients.
Sift into egg mixture and beat well.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Carefully fold into batter.
Bake and serve with desired topping.
