Black-Eyed Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
    small amount sugar or Equal, if desired
Preparation
    Heat
    vinegar,\toil
    and
    sweetener to boil.
    Pour over peas, onion and bell pepper.
    Let set for a good spell.
