Merry Christmas Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. lime jello
1 c. boiling water
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 c. small curd cottage cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Dissolve jello in boiling water; cool until syrupy, then stir in remaining ingredients.
Turn into a round 8-inch or 9 x 1 1/2-inch cake pan lined with wax paper.
Chill until firm, turn out on waxed paper and frost top.
Cutting wedges on lettuce, decorate squares with cranberry sauce and walnut halves.
