Party Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar gradually and continue creaming until very fluffy.
Add eggs; beat until light.
Sift flour; measure.
Add salt and baking powder and sift twice more.
Add vanilla to milk.
Add dry and liquid ingredients alternately to creamed mixture.
Beat until thoroughly blended.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
Top with favorite frosting.
